T.E.A.M SENDOFF was founded and launched by Ralph Oliver in Katy Texas. It is a program designed to recognize and support the men and women that have decided to join and serve the military branches of this great country. The recruits are invited to a specified location along with there recruiter. Organizations from the Katy area (Katy VFW, Katy American Legion, Katy Elks, Katy Lions, Local Churches, Local Businesses and the General Public) are invited to attend. The program starts with a prayer, the pledge of allegiance and the singing of the National Anthem. The recuiters from each service branch will announce each recruit, there parents and the recruits MOS. specified groups will hand out tokens of appreciation. The program will conclude with everyone forming a receiving line where the recruit will receive hand shakes, hugs and congratulations. Off they go.
